Post image for Ridiculously Easy Way to Clean a Blender

This method comes from Karol Gajda over at RidiculouslyExtraordinary.com. It’s so darn easy and quick that I had to tell you about it.

In summary, here are the steps for cleaning a blender:

  1. Fill the blender half-way with hot water and blend to remove left over gunk. Pour watery gunk out.
  2. Fill the blender half-way with ice and pour in soap and a little water. Blend. This removes the gunk off of the blender blades. Pour out iced gunk.
  3. Repeat step one to remove any remaining soap.
  4. You are done!

Not only do you save time, but you use less water and you don’t have to worry about taking apart the carafe and handling the blades.

It’s just brilliant!
